John has been practicing sustainable line caught fishing techniques for over 21 years as a full time commercial angler.
On his charter trips John provides light line ‘sports’ tackle free of charge so that clients experience the thrill of fighting and landing bass, pollack and cod as well as teaching them the new techniques he has learnt which produce results – fish and lots of them.
Outcast III is a fast Cougar Cat powered by twin Selva x40S (115hp each). It is a 7.6m and 3m wide boat and the deck layout is designed by John himself. John has over 17 years experience as a charter skipper and the boat is licensed to carry 6 anglers.

To exclusively charter the boat (1 – 6 anglers) £320 per day.
One Tide Trips
One tide trips are of approximately 4 hours duration when there is a ‘neap’ tide and during daylight hours only for the safety of all passengers.
Bream fishing – £120.00 up to 4 people
Tuna fishing
From July to end of October we will be targeting yellow fin and albacore tunas. We will have shark tackle available if we see any in the chum slick and we’ll be using live and dead bait.
We will be using penn 50lb class stand up tackle with full standup harness, and will be chumming and chunking to bring the fish to us.
£600 for the whole boat 8 to 10hrs or £120 for individuals
